Emirates is preparing to launch its brand-new Airbus A350 aircraft in India on Republic Day, January 26, 2025, a commemoratory date in the Indian calendar. This launch on Republic Day is a token of appreciation for its Indian customers, paying respect to the Indian Republic. The noteworthy debut will feature daily flights to Mumbai and Ahmedabad. With this addition, Emirates will now serve five destinations in its network.

Its airframe is composed of over 70 per cent advanced materials, including composites, titanium, and modern aluminium alloys, making it lighter and more cost-efficient while enhancing its resistance to corrosion and minimising maintenance needs.
Emirates will operate daily flights to both Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The aircraft will operate daily on Flight EK502 and Flight EK503. Flight EK502 departs Dubai at 13:15, arriving in Mumbai at 17:50. The return flight, Flight EK503, leaves Mumbai at 19:20 and arrives back in Dubai at 21:05. The aircraft will also operate daily on Flight EK538 and Flight EK539. Flight EK538 will depart Dubai at 22:50, arriving in Ahmedabad at 02:55 the next day. Return Flight EK539 departs Ahmedabad at 04:25 and arrives back in Dubai at 06:15.
The launch of Emirates’ services to Mumbai and Ahmedabad, two of India's vibrant cities, is a significant step in the airline's expansion. This comes after its recent operations to Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The airline currently operates daily services to Mumbai and Bangalore using its flagship aircraft, offering customers a choice of four cabin classes, including the signature Premium Economy experience. Overall, Emirates serves nine points in India with a total of 167 flights per week, a testament to its commitment to the Indian market.
