Jiuquan Iron and Steel Company (JISCO), since the beginning of the year, has steadily increased the sales of its double zero foil billet. Since the beginning of this year, the company's orders for double zero foil billets have steadily increased, recently receiving a batch of export orders for South Korea.
{alcircleadd}JISCO has delivered 15,277 tonnes of double-zero foil products to major domestic manufacturers. This year, the product has gained strong support from end users, with sales surpassing 10,000 tons and exceeding the planned target. As the concept of green consumption gains traction, demand for these products continues to grow both domestically and internationally, offering a promising outlook.
Wang Xiaogang, Associate Engineer in the Production Technology and Quality Department at Dongxing Jiayu New Materials, highlighted a batch of products ready for shipment to South Korea while briefing reporters. In 2023, JISCO overcame numerous technical challenges to develop a double-zero foil blank with outstanding performance, a low pinhole rate, and precise profile accuracy.
By continuously refining the casting and cold rolling processes for double-zero foil billets, JISCO has achieved a stable mass supply. When customers produce finished products with thicknesses of 0.006mm and 0.007mm, the pinhole rates reach 150/㎡ and 100/㎡, respectively, achieving an ultra-high precision level recognized throughout the industry.
