ASI certifies aluminium packaging company Aluflexpack against Performance Standard & Chain of Custody Standard Certifications

The Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has certified Aluflexpack, one of the leading international manufacturers of outstanding flexible packaging, against both the Performance Standard Certification and Chain of Custody Standard Certification.

Aluflexpack Novi d.o.o. production plant in Drniš, Croatia, has achieved dual Performance Standard and Chain of Custody Standard Certifications, while its Process Point Service AG site in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, has bagged Chain of Custody Certification.

Aluflexpack Novi plant laminates, lacquers, extrudes, prints, slits, embosses, lasers, punches and forms aluminium into flexible packaging. Process Point Service plant develops and produces semi-rigid aluminium compound containers and lids.

The packaging that Aluflexpack produces primarily lands in the hands of consumers. With the Chain of Custody Certification and appropriate upstream sourcing in place, Aluflexpack can leverage on-product claims to bring the message of ASI Certified Aluminium’s sustainability properties to a broader public.”

The independent, third-party audits of the Aluflexpack production sites were carried out by TÜV Rheinland Cert GmbH.
