The cylinders made of aluminium are far better than steel cylinders due to the impact of internal and external corrosion of the steel cylinders. The University of Rhode Island’s study of cylinder internal corrosion reveals: “Under equal conditions of moisture in cylinders, aluminium cylinders are much better, so air stored in aluminium cylinders may retain it's quality longer.”
{alcircleadd}The highly developed industrialized nation, Austria exported 1051tonnes of aluminium containers for compressed gas during 2019-20, which incurred revenue generation of around $9.52 million from the export.
In 2019, Austria registered an export of 552 tonnes of aluminium containers for compressed gas, accounting for revenue earnings of $4.46 million, whereas, in 2020, the export reflected de-growth by 9.60%, as the export volume reduced to 499 tonnes, while earnings surged to $5.06 million.
The export for 2021 is analysed again with a turn-around in growth by 86.57%, as the export volume is appraised to remain at 931 tonnes and earnings to stand at $9.35 million.
The major trading destinations for Austria’s export of aluminium cylinders are Australia, Belgium, China, France, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey, etc.
