Petron Corp., one of the Philippines' largest oil refining and marketing companies, has introduced a new refillable liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) product in Luzon, dubbed Fiesta Gas 170-gram refillable cylinders. The Fiesta Gas 170-gram is designed to be compatible with LPG-rated portable burners and grillers, and the packaging is composed of seamless aluminium alloy that can bear high pressure, in accordance with the Philippine National Standards (PNS).
{alcircleadd}Following its debut in the Visayas last year, Petron Corporation's newest invention in the LPG category, the new Fiesta Gas 170-gram in refillable cylinders, is now available throughout Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. After the contents have been used, the aluminium alloy refillable cylinders may be returned to authorised Fiesta Gas dealers and merchants in exchange for a full cylinder. This guarantees that clients always get the correct amount and quality of merchandise.
Petron also said that the cylinders were environmentally friendly since they were reusable. These may be refilled at authorised Fiesta Gas dealers and merchants. LPG cylinders may only be refilled if they meet Philippine National Standards (PNS), according to Republic Act No. 11592 or the LPG Industry Regulation Act.
"By offering a convenient, safe and affordable solution, our new Fiesta Gas 170-gram refillable cylinders protect Filipino homes from unsafe, substandard and illegal butane canisters that are extremely dangerous," said Petron president and CEO Ramon Ang.
Because of their mobility and simplicity, portable stoves and grillers are becoming more popular among outdoor lovers, restaurants, and food outlets. With a reputable brand like Fiesta Gas providing a safe, refillable cylinder, more consumers may confidently use the product without fear of gas leaks or fire threats.
"Petron is a staunch supporter of the LPG Law that strengthens consumer protection. By offering a convenient, safe, and affordable solution, our new Fiesta Gas 170-gram in refillable cylinders protect Filipino homes from unsafe, substandard, and illegal butane canisters that are extremely dangerous," added Ramon.
The new product will make LPG more available to houses that now cook with charcoal, firewood, or, worse, illegally replenished butane canisters. This decreases exposure to health and safety risks while providing a more convenient and cost-effective cooking fuel choice.
