CANPACK will construct its second US aluminium beverage can body manufacturing plant in Muncie. The $380 million investment project is likely to create 345 local jobs by 2023.
The company will start construction of the 862,000-square-foot facility in mid-2021, and the plant operation is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2022.

CANPACK broke ground on its first US operation a year ago in Olyphant, Pa., and will further increase its investment in Olyphant by $10 million to increase its end-making capacity.
