{alcircleadd}This year, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, supported by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its clean energy leader Masdar, will serve as a global platform for advancing economic, social, and environmental progress in line with the UAE's sustainability goals, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and other stakeholders seeking sustainable solutions for the aluminium industry and working towards it.
Under the theme "The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress," ADSW 2025 will host several sessions and forums throughout the week to provide endless learning and networking opportunities focused on low-carbon economies. At the same time, EGA's participation in the event as an associate partner also reflects on the company's net-zero greenhouse gas emission goals by 2050
Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi emphasised the importance of the partnership, stating, "ADSW provides a global platform for collaboration, fostering dialogue and partnerships to develop low-carbon economic systems." Abdulnasser Bin Kalban added, "Decarbonising industries like aluminium is key to achieving net-zero goals, and platforms like ADSW are essential for bringing stakeholders together to share knowledge and innovate solutions."
