Beyond its strong domestic market in Taiwan, CSAC exports to China, Southeast Asia, and Japan, and smaller volumes to the United States, Australia, and Europe. As of June 1, 2023, all recertification must comply with the updated 2022 ASI Performance Standards. The company has seamlessly transitioned to meet these revised requirements, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and industry best practices.
Launched in May 2022, the ASI Performance Standard V3 and Chain of Custody Standard V2 represent a heightened commitment to responsible production, sourcing, and stewardship across the aluminium value chain.
The ASI Performance Standard V3 is built on 11 principles and 62 criteria, structured around three core sustainability pillars: Environment, Social, and Governance. It aims to tackle critical sustainability challenges within the aluminium value chain, including biodiversity conservation, the rights of Indigenous Peoples, circular economy practices, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
