LME aluminium opened at US$2244.5 per tonne in the previous trading day, with its low and high at US$2233.5 per tonne and US$2264 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2255.5 per tonne, up US$11.5 per tonne or 0.51 per cent.
On Tuesday, November 21, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price grew by US$10 per tonne or 0.45 per cent and US$9.5 per tonne or 0.43 per cent to clock at US$2,201 per tonne and US$2,201.50 per tonne.
As per the London Metal Exchange (LME) data, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price hiked by US$11 per tonne or 0.49 per cent and US$11.5 per tonne or 0.51 per cent to halt at US$2,239 per tonne and US$2,240 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price also ascended by US$10 per tonne and US$5 per tonne to clock at US$2,348 per tonne and US$2,353 per tonne. LME aluminium opening stock came in at 476875 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants scored at 213525 tonnes and 263350 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price increased by US$11.65 per tonne or 0.52 per cent to peg at US$2,247.50 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On November 22, today, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium price contracted by US$13 per tonne or 0.48 per cent to come in at US$2,654 per tonne. The most-traded SHFE 2312 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18945 per tonne overnight, with its low and high at RMB 18875 per tonne and RMB 18965 per tonne before closing at RMB 18960 per tonne, up RMB 40 per tonne or 0.21 per cent.
