Michael C. Arnold, Kevin W. Williams join Kaiser Aluminum as new Board of Directors

On September 7, 2021, the Board of Directors in Kaiser Aluminum Corporation announced that Michael C. Arnold and Kevin W. Williams are the new members of the board. They will be serving as Independent Directors.

Prior to joining Kaiser Aluminum, Mr. Arnold served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ryerson Inc., metal processor and distributor. Before being a part of Kaiser Aluminum, Mr.Williams served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at GAA Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, one of the largest African American owned businesses.

According to Jack A. Hockema, the Executive Chairman of Kaiser Aluminum, “As highly respected leaders with a deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain management, we are excited to have Mike and Kevin join the board.”

He added, “Mike brings extensive manufacturing and supply chain expertise in the metals industry in addition to public company board expertise, presently serving as lead independent director of AGCO Corporation. Kevin also brings extensive experience in manufacturing and supply chain expertise across Kaiser's served markets with deep experience in the automotive industry. Both Mike and Kevin's experience, perspectives and insight will be valuable additions to our board.”

Mr. Michael C. Arnold was a part of many reputed organisations before joining Ryerson Inc. He was a part of The Timken Company from 1979 to 2010 where he served as the Executive Vice President.  Apart from this he also served as the President of many companies like Bearings and Power Transmission Group. He was also the Vice President of Bearings and Business Process Advancement. Mr. Michael C. Arnold did his graduation in mechanical engineering and also holds a Master’s Degree in sales and marketing from the Akron University.

Before joining GAA Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, Mr. Kevin was the President and Managing Director of General Motors of Canada Limited. He was also a part of the Global Service and Parts Operations of General Motors Company where he was appointed as the Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Williams also held many other senior roles including chairman, president, as well as the Managing Director of GM De Mexico, Cayman Island and also Central America. Mr. Kevin completed his Bachelors in Business Administration and Management from Tennessee State University and his Masters from the Central Michigan University.
