Nespresso unveils Vertuo Pop coffee machine featuring 80% recycled aluminium

Sustainability is at the heart of everything Nespresso does. The firm is dedicated to positively influencing people and the environment while providing customers with some of the most exquisite coffees available. In keeping with this philosophy, Nespresso has introduced the Vertuo Pop machine, which is the smallest and most economical Vertuo machine to date.

Constructed out of 80 per cent recycled aluminium, the Vertuo Pop machine will provide 25 distinct coffee blends and single origins in various cup sizes, allowing coffee enthusiasts to enjoy their favourite drink any way they want, whenever they want, with the press of a button. Apart from this, the machine comprises 35 per cent recycled plastic, while the packaging is 99.5 per cent recyclable.

With six new colourways, Vertuo Pop enables coffee enthusiasts to make a style statement. The latest member of the Vertuo family allows Nespresso consumers to create and make a style statement in hues ranging from traditional Liquorice Black or Coconut White to vivid and whimsical Spicy Red, Mango Yellow, Aqua Mint, or Pacific Blue.

Vertuo Pop, like the rest of the Vertuo line, has Centrifusion™ technology. The intelligent system recognises the coffee variety being brewed using barcode technology. It automatically adjusts the extraction parameters - such as infusion time, water temperature and flow rate, rotational speed, and cup length - to the precise levels selected by coffee experts for each blend. This guarantees that each cup is tailored to the exact coffee mix, exposing high-quality fragrance and crème every time.
