As per the report of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Dutch economy is projected to grow by 2.7% in 2021 and 3.7% in 2022, reaching pre-crisis levels at the beginning of 2022. Consumption will steer the recovery as households normalise their saving after the rapid rise in 2020. Private investment will improve, but continue to be held back by lingering uncertainty. Bankruptcies are expected to increase and unemployment is set to peak in the second half of 2021 following the phasing out of support measures.
{alcircleadd}The North-western European nation, Netherlands exported 63,749 tonnes of aluminium cans during 2018-19 and the revenue earned from the export accounted for $244.16 million. The export for 2020 remained at 68,390 tonnes and the earnings stood at $216.55 million. However, when the export volume and earnings for 2020 gets added with the existing two years, it signifies 132,139 tonnes and $460.71 million.
Netherlands export of aluminium cans in 2018 was recorded at 20,208 tonnes and the earnings notified was $74.44 million, whereas, in 2019, the export saw enterprising growth by 115.46%, as the export rose to 43,541 tonnes and the earnings surged to $169.72 million.
The export for 2020 displayed a further rise by 57.07%, as the export volume grew to 68,390 tonnes and the earnings soared to $216.55 million.
The Netherlands major trading destinations for the export of aluminium cans are Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Rep., China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, UK, USA, etc.
