RIMOWA has established itself as a premium luggage provider since 1898, with their flagship aluminium trunk first introduced in 1937. With the perfect amalgamation of German engineering, the Cologne-based company has successfully created backpacks and travel bags in collaboration with the LVMH group in 2017 and now it is going to join EVH’s client portfolio.
Aluminium is an extremely rigid yet malleable material that can retain its original properties even after going through multiple rounds of a recycling process. RIMOWA suitcases and luggage can be easily recognised due to their patent ‘grooves’ on the surface, their multi-wheel technology and those telescopic handles for easier carriage.
In 2020, when Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert was appointed as the CEO of RIMOWA, a profound change in pace was noticed as, coincidentally, the company expanded into making backpacks and travel bags as well. RIMOWA has active connections with luxury brands such as Porsche, Dior, Fendi, Moncler and Off-White.
RIMOWA enters EVH’s client portfolio, including Hublot, Bally, Alex Perry, Bang & Olufsen, Farfetch, Dion Lee, Moet Hennessy, Technogym, SIR, Van Cleef & Arpels, Zegna and Jaguar Land Rover.
The strategy director of EVH, Pete Harrison, claimed: “We are thrilled to welcome RIMOWA to EVH-the brand is innovative and progressive, which aligns with our core values at EVH. We look forward to a successful partnership and seeing RIMOWA grow within the Australian Market.”
EVH is the leading provider of PR communications, events and creative campaigns all across the Australian market, and this collaboration with RIMOWA will help the latter in finding concrete ground in Australia.
