Sineng Electric's pivotal contribution to the 641MW solar project in Gujarat, part of the monumental 30GW Khavda Solar Park, heralds a new era in India's renewable energy sector. Expected to power 16.1 million homes, this project will become the world's largest renewable energy installation. By generating 1,900,000 MWh of clean energy annually and eliminating 913,428 tonnes of CO2 emissions, this venture epitomises the potential of sustainable technology.
Developed and owned by Adani, the Khavda Solar Park is set to revolutionise the renewable energy landscape in India. Sineng Electric's significant role includes supplying 2,887 units of its state-of-the-art 275kW SP-275K-INH string inverters. These inverters boast a maximum efficiency of 99.03%, feature 12 MPPTs, and are compatible with bifacial PV modules. They support up to 24 PV strings, utilise aluminium cable connections, and offer PLC communication, effectively lowering system costs while ensuring reliability and longevity with IP65 and C5 anti-corrosion protection.
The integration of aluminium in the electrical components, particularly in the cable connections of Sineng’s inverters, highlights the metal’s significance in the renewable energy sector. Aluminium’s non-corrosive properties and excellent conductivity make it an ideal choice for such high-efficiency systems, enhancing the overall durability and performance of the solar installation.
The Head of Sales for Northern India, Arun Chaudhary, remarked: "With our extensive expertise in utility-scale PV projects, excellent quality assurance, robust supply chain, and localisation strategy, Sineng is at the forefront of India’s energy transformation. We look forward to accelerating the country’s journey toward decarbonisation and a sustainable future." This statement reflects Sineng Electric's commitment to driving India's energy transition with innovative and sustainable solutions.
