On Tuesday, January 17, the average alumina spot price has hiked by RMB 12 per tonne to halt at RMB 2,945 per tonne. Prices in Henan and Guangxi have increased by RMB 10 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,990 per tonne and RMB 2,890 per tonne. On the same day, prices in Shandong and Shanxi have gone up by RMB 5 per tonne to reside at RMB 2,915 per tonne and RMB 2,970 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has moved up by RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 18,210 per tonne, with the average price standing between RMB 18,490 per tonne and RMB 18,530 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 90 to RMB 50 per tonne.
The price in Foshan and Tianjin has ascended by RMB 80 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to score at RMB 18,570 per tonne and RMB 18,470 per tonne. On the same day, A00 aluminium ingot price in Hangzhou and Linyi hiked by RMB 60 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,520 per tonne and RMB 18,510 per tonne. As per the SMM data, prices in Gongyi, Wuxi and Shenyang have increased by RMB 50 per tonne to stop at RMB 18,350 per tonne, RMB 18,485 per tonne and RMB 18,470 per tonne. In Chongqing, the price has climbed up by RMB 40 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,540 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has hiked by RMB 83 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,150 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) have shown no change to settle at RMB 26,400 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.
The aluminium alloys (A356) price has climbed up by RMB 50 per tonne to peg at RMB19,650 per tonne, with the average price expected to range between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. On the other hand, aluminium alloy (A380) price and aluminium alloy (ADC12) price have remained restrained at RMB 20,500 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne.
