Bang & Olufsen’s The Ferrari Collection features anodized aluminium in flagship red colour

Bang & Olufsen has joined forces with Ferrari to produce a new range of headphones and speakers that celebrate the two brands' mirroring expertise in precision, sobriety and aluminium. The collection stands unified by a bold red hue that establishes an unmistakable connection to the Ferrari brand signature. It has the Beosound 2 home speaker, Beoplay H95 headphones, Beoplay EX earphones, and the portable speaker Beosound Explore.

Both Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari have been at the forefront of innovation for over half a century. Bang & Olufsen has been shaping the global sound and vision landscape since 1925, while Ferrari has been disrupting the automotive industry since 1947. The collaboration between the two brands represents over 150 years of innovation.

The Beosound 2 delivers an immersive 360-degree home audio experience that can be placed on the floor, table, or shelf and moved easily from room to room. The Active RoomSense and built-in proximity sensors incorporate smart technology, while a high-grade aluminium cone provides a seamless look and superior sound acoustics. In The Ferrari Collection, Beosound 2 is anodized in Ferrari's signature red at Bang & Olufsen's Factory 5 in Struer, and the aluminium body is polished to provide a high shine that enhances the richness of the red shade. The iconic Ferrari emblem sits below the grille, completing the design.

Kristian Teär, the CEO of Bang & Olufsen, narrated: "We are very excited about this collaboration. There was a strong sense of history in the making as we came together to create it. It goes all the way back to the start for B&O and Ferrari. The founders, Enzo Ferrari, Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, were visionaries who redefined their industries by challenging the status quo. Their legacies ring down through the decades to push both brands to new heights to this day."

The Beoplay H95 is Bang & Olufsen's flagship headphone, providing the best-in-class sound and innovation. The custom titanium drivers deliver punchy sound, and the adaptive active noise cancellation allows the wearer to adjust it by simply rotating the earcup aluminium ring. Finished with soft lambskin leather and with 38 hours of non-stop listening, the Beoplay H95 is built to last. In The Ferrari Collection, the headphones feature Ferrari's jet-black shade, with laser-etched Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari's Prancing Horse logos. The titanium speaker grilles under the earcups are anodized in a rich red hue, specifically selected for this collaboration.

Teär went on to explain: "The combination of best-in-class performance, graceful aesthetics and meticulous craftsmanship brought B&O and Ferrari together to create the collection. This is elevated by the unrivalled heritage of both brands, making this collaboration one to remember."

The collection is a digression from Bang & Olufsen's conventional designs; Christoffer Poulsen, the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Bang & Olufsen, commented: "Our classic speakers are meant to naturally blend in with people's homes while also standing out for their beautiful design. This collection is different. They're statement pieces. Much like supercars, they make themselves seen and heard everywhere they go".

The Beosound Explore is a portable speaker that is fully dust and waterproof with an IP67 rating, making it perfect for outdoor adventures. With Bluetooth and Fast Pairing, music is always one click away, and the speaker lasts all day with up to 27 hours of playtime. The Ferrari Collection features a laser-etched Prancing Horse and a striking black carabiner for any adventure. The two-layer body of the speaker is anodized in red and black so that the grille stands out instantly against the dark interior.

Digital Transformation

The Beoplay EX is Bang & Olufsen's most powerful true wireless earphones, boasting active noise cancellation, unrivalled sound, and a wireless charging case for up to 20 hours of on-the-go listening. With six microphones and intelligent beam-forming technology, the Beoplay EX can be used for taking business calls and enjoying music equally. In The Ferrari Collection, the right earbud features a striking black foiled logo of the Ferrari emblem, sitting under glass poured in the iconic red and cut and polished to provide a mirror-like shine.
