China exported 106,600 tonnes of aluminium foil in November, down by 7 per cent Y-o-Y and 6 per cent M-o-M. A total of 1.36 million tonnes of aluminium foil was exported from January to November, a growth of 12 from the same period last year.
{alcircleadd}The top two purchasers were India (10,500 tonnes) and Thailand (8,500 tonnes). The United States, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, and South Korea ranked among the top ten locations. A total of 61,500 tonnes were exported to the top 10 destinations, accounting for 58 per cent of all exports.
The off-season caused a further slowdown in overseas orders. In December, the number of exports is anticipated to stay low. However, a 1.45 million tonnes increase in exports for the entire year is predicted, given the massive Q2 export volume.
