Eureka, a renowned purveyor of exceptional decorative lighting solutions, unveiled the magnificent Atoll circular luminaire on 8 August 2023. This luminaire bestows not only an instantaneous emission of light but also the option of an ethereal batwing uplight, combining both to orchestrate an immaculate symphony of illumination in every direction with an attractive, simple silhouette.
{alcircleadd}These Atoll rings are spherical-shaped luminaires made of high-quality sleek aluminium extrusions that can be put as a pendant or directly on a surface or ceiling. The pendants are accessible in seven various sizes ranging from 24" to 120" in diameter, while the ceiling mounts up to 72". An adjustable, UV-resistant silicone diffuser snaps into place to block outflowing light rays along the lens' surface. The one-piece diffuser generates a single ring of illumination irrespective of size.
The pendant provides direct Lambertian illumination, evenly spreading light downward. The luminaire also offers an optional batwing illumination that ensures uniform lighting on the ceiling without creating dark spots, irrespective of the pendent's position.
A 24" ring, for example, could be installed as close to the ceiling as 5" and a 72" ring as close as 12". When placed on a wall, Atoll's narrow 2.93" profile makes it ADA-compliant. On a huge wall, many sizes can create an intriguing montage. With a ceiling surface mount, the Atoll may even be put in lower ceiling locations.
Atoll comes in two outputs and may produce up to 45,761 lumens with respect to the size and accessories chosen.
The luminaire has a noise and colour acoustic panel. It is constructed of recycled polyethylene (PET), which aids in sound attenuation, and it is simple to install without the need for tools. Designers can pick between 14 standard colours and 16 premium colours.
Tunable white is available in all Atoll configurations, ranging from 2700K to 5000K. They are also compatible with the network control systems nLight® Air and nLight Wired. These systems modulate lighting in indoor environments, lowering energy costs and increasing occupant comfort.
