Hero Lectro, the premium e-cycle brand of Hero Cycles & e-bikes in India, recently introduced three new variants of their existing C and F series line-ups - the C1, C5x, and F1. The new e-cycles have cutting-edge aluminium alloy 6061 frames for higher structural strength and corrosion resistance.
{alcircleadd}"Having launched the first e-cycles in India, we at Hero Lectro are today witnessing its widespread adoption across the length and breadth of India," said Aditya Munjal, Director at Hero Cycles.
Aluminium alloy 6061 is a great option for bicycle frames. It offers stiffness, toughness and structural strength, strong corrosion resistance, and favourable machining properties. When welding is necessary as it is with bicycle frames, the 6061 alloys, which is alloyed with silicon and magnesium, is a great option.
All three new models have appealing colour options and can travel up to 25 kilometres per hour or 30 kilometres on a single charge. The entry-level C1 model's 19′′ frames and upgraded looks provide excellent ergonomics for more comfortable and secure commuting. Aerodynamic forks, anti-slip alloy pedals, and IP67 and IP65 dust and waterproof certifications are additional features included with the bikes.
The newest electric bicycles are excellent everyday drivers in all environments. The C5x includes detachable Li-ion batteries that are much simpler to charge and switch out than portable chargers that work with standard power outlets.
Hero Lectro's new C1, C5x, and F1 bikes feature dual-wall alloy rims in various sizes, RFID key locking, and LED display units powered by high-power Li-ion batteries and 250W BLDC motors. The new Hero Lectro C1, C5x, and F1 were created in-house at Hero Lectro's R&D facilities.
