On Monday, March 29, HP Inc. announced new ‘EMVY’ laptops made from recycled aluminium. The news came after Ifeyinwa Afe, Managing Director of HP Nigeria, launched the two new laptops - HP ENVYx360 15 and HP ENVY 17 in Lagos, Nigeria. According to her, they are designed to give people the freedom to create and stay connected from anywhere.
{alcircleadd}Afe added the packaging for both the laptops moved away from single-use plastics and moulded fibre packaging to recycled aluminium. The products are primarily meant for creative consumers doing more creative activities during the COVID-19, such as photography, live blogging, and editing short videos.
The HP ENVYx360 15 is a stunning mobile creative convertible laptop with 88.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio and thin and light design. The product weighs 1.8 kg and comes with 11th Gen Intel Core processor, NVIDIA MX450 graphics, and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth® 5 for fast connectivity.
On the other hand, the HP ENVY 17 is a mobile creative powerhouse with 86.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It weighs 2.5 kg and features 11th Gen Intel Core processorsiv, NVIDIA MX450 graphics with up to a 4K UHD display, and Wi-Fi 6iv and Bluetooth® 5.
Afe said the new ENVY laptop delivers a personalised creative experience with features like factory colour calibration on the displays, an all-in-one keyboard for quick shortcuts, and so on.
