Aluminium Stewearship Initiative has successfully certified Jiangsu Zhongji Lamination Materials Co., Ltd against the Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard certification for material conversion activities at the Anhui Maximum Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd. plant in Anhui Province, China.
{alcircleadd}The plant’s main production processes include remelting and casting, cold rolling and finishing for manufacturing precision aluminium strip and foils. The annual production capacity of the plant is 120,000 tonnes.
Earlier in December 2020, the plant achieved the ASI’s Performance Standard Certification.
Fiona Solomon, Chief Executive Officer at ASI, said: “We congratulate Jiangsu Zhongji Lamination Materials Co., Ltd. on achieving the ASI Chain of Custody Standard Certification for their Anhui Maximum Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd. plant. As downstream demand for more responsible sourcing of aluminium increases, the suppliers of aluminium products around the world are using ASI Standards to demonstrate their commitment. With appropriate upstream sourcing, this certification gives Anhui Maximum Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd.’s customers the possibility to source ASI Certified Aluminium strip and foil products.”
The independent, third-party audit of the Anhui Maximum Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd. facility was carried out by DNV GL.
