SERAM to produce aesthetic markings on metals like aluminium with its latest partnership

SERAM, a global leader in decorative ribbons and a subsidiary of Neyret Group, has partnered with Qiova, a pioneer in developing high-speed industrial laser systems for precision material processing. With this partnership, SERAM will be able to produce an infinite variety of functional and aesthetic markings on a wide range of metals like aluminium, brass, copper and other materials, including glass ceramic, plastic polymers, textile, wood, cardboard, etc., thanks to Qiova's patented programmable multi-beam laser technology.

"QR codes, whether integrated into the decor or infinitely small, can now be personalised at very high speed, so that individual packs can be identified without disrupting the user experience. Digital content is incorporated into the product in an open-ended and retroactive way to connect with users," said SERAM.

Neyret Group now offers a whole package (laser + software). It can therefore supply clients with turnkey marking solutions thanks to its two companies - SERAM for the laser portion and Sansara for the software environment for monitoring individual items.
