The Indian auto components manufacturer, also specialised in Heat Shields, Talbros Automotive Components has signed a Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA) with its Japanese partner 'Sanwa Packing Industry Co. Ltd.' for Light Weight Aluminium Heat Shields.
The product will be used for automotive applications and is a futuristic product technology which comes up with multiple benefits like Noise Reduction, Emission Control and Heat Insulation at challenging temperatures. It is broadly used on new generation engines including Hybrid and EVs. However, the company is in discussion with key OEMs in India for commercializing this product.
Nimbus, the product name of the Light Weight Aluminium Heat Shield by Sanwa is the world's first aluminium light-weight heatshield for exhaust systems. The weight aluminium heatshield of Nimbus is about half the weight of conventional steel heatshield. This product will be of strong support to OEMs in building BS-VI products.
The Japanese firm Sanwa Packaging is evolver of providing Heat Shield Solutions to Automotive Industry and delivers the products to major OEMs of Global auto brands such as Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Mazda, and Nissan.
