In December 2021, US exported 19,100 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets and bars to Canada, showing a month-on-month decline of 7,100 tonnes or 27.09%. In November 2021, 26,200 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars were exported to Canada, reflecting an elevation of 3,100 tonnes from 23,100 tonnes or 13.41% in October 2021.
{alcircleadd}According to the US Geological Survey (USGS) statistics, the total amount of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars exported to Canada in the fourth quarter of 2021 closed at 62,300 tonnes, showing a quarter-on-quarter downfall of 9,300 tonnes or 12.98%. In Q3 2021, US exported 71,600 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets and bars to Canada, showing a quarter-on-quarter fall of 5,700 tonnes or 7.37% from 77,300 tonnes in Q2 2021.
On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, and bars exported to Canada dwindled by 6,300 tonnes or 24.80% from 25,400 tonnes in December 2020, shows USGS.
From January to December, the exported aluminium plates, sheets and bars from US to Canada settled at 296,000 tonnes, down by 4,000 tonnes from 300,000 tonnes a year earlier.
The total amount of US aluminium plates, sheets and bar exports in December 2021 stood at 40,500 tonnes, down by 20.43% month-on-month from 50,900 tonnes and 24.29% lesser year-on-year than 53,500 tonnes.

In the entire year of 2021, Canada exported 626,000 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets and bars from the US, a downfall of 8.87% from 687,000 tonnes in 2020.
