China's A00 aluminium ingot price plunges by RMB140/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price drops by RMB100/t

On Thursday, June 30, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has slipped by RMB 140 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,230 per tonne, says the Shanghai Metals Market. The average price for the same is expected to hover between RMB 19,210 per tonne and RMB 19,250 per tonne, with spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB -40 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 0 per tonne.

The A00 aluminium ingot price has experienced a downfall in almost all the major provinces, except Wuxi and Hangzhou, where the price has escalated by RMB 110 per tonne to score at RMB 19,340 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. In Gongyi and Chongqing, the price has declined by RMB 140 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,070 per tonne and RMB 19,210 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price in Foshan has plunged by RMB 150 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,180 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has slumped by RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 80 per tonne to record at RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,250 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has dropped by RMB 190 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,200 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low carbon aluminium has experienced a downfall by RMB 161 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,783 per tonne.

According to the SMM data, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and the high purity aluminium (99.996%) price has plummeted by RMB 100 per tonne to stop at RMB 27,300 per tonne and RMB 28,300 per tonne.

The Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price,  (A356) price and (A380) price has grown by RMB 100 per tonne to record at RMB 19,400 per tonne, RMB 20,300 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne. The average price for aluminium alloy (ADC12) is expected to hover between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne.

For aluminium alloy (A356), the average price is expected to range between RMB 20,200 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne. The average price for (A380) is expected to orbit between RMB 20,300 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne.
