HMD Global has achieved extreme durability with its recent Nokia smartphone launch. The company claims its ¨ultra tough¨ Nokia XR21 will negate all kinds of ‘phone anxiety’ with its highly robust 100% recycled aluminium chassis.
The Nokia XR21 is immune to any outer damage because its body has been safeguarded with durable materials. Some of the specifications are as follows:
Nokia XR21 is impact, dust and water resistant to ensure it can be compatible with people prone to dropping their phones.
While addressing the reporters during the launch, Brenden Folitarik, HMD Global’s Country Manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, exclaimed: “We know Australians love their smartphones and that they go through a lot of wear and tear in their lifetime. From parents of toddlers to tradies and outdoor adventure-lovers, the Nokia XR21 has been built for every day and for everyone.”
“We’re so confident you can take the Nokia XR21 anywhere in Australia where you can capture those special moments, and should the worst happen, we offer a one-year screen replacement guarantee,” he added.
HMD Global orchestrated research that notified that 62% of Australian have dropped their phones and broken the screen in the past, with most of them living with a defaced smartphone and not bothering to replace or fix it. The research also measured that 74% wanted a phone that was durable enough to last longer. It was also noticed that 77% wanted a phone with a better battery backup, 69% wanted durability, and almost 67% wanted the camera to be good.
Nokia XR21 has an Octa-Core Snapdragon 695 5G chipset processor, 6GB RAM and an amazing 128GB in-built storage. The screen is a 6.49-inch PS LCD with a refresh rate of 1080 x 2400 @ 120Hz. The smartphone possesses a dual rear camera which has one 64 MP Main camera lens and an auxiliary 8 MP Ultrawide sensor lens. The front camera is 16 megapixels.
Nokia XR21 has a USB-C port cord paired with 33W fast charging and a 4800 mAh embedded battery. The smartphone will be available in two primary shades: Pine Green and Midnight Black.
