The release of Nokia T21 tablets has been announced by HMD Global, comprised of 100% recyclable aluminium and 60% recycled plastic. For the past few years, the company has invested sufficiently to transform its constituting materials into sustainable ones that can induce a circular economy.
{alcircleadd}In December 2016, HMD Global took over the operations of the acknowledged Finnish mobile brand, Nokia and, since then, has been rigorously involved in R&D trying to incorporate sustainability agendas into the company profile.
With the world moving towards Net Zero, many acknowledged companies are taking their first pledge towards sustainability. HMD wishes to keep up with the race with this particular model. The use of aluminium is ingenious as, among metals, it has a 100 per cent retrieval rate when it comes to recycling.
The new Nokia T21 tablet has been optimised for work use, as well as for application in casual travel or family affairs.
The battery can power the device continuously for 15 hours while browsing the internet or watching online shows, but it has a seven hours slot for conference calls. In fact, the battery has 18W fast charging facilities and can remain 60% healthier than a contemporary model of the same specification.
The display has been enhanced, and its 2K reach produces extremely detailed picture quality, while the active pen helps in sketching or doodling on the screen.
The tablet can be very helpful for young students, artists and working adults who wish to simplify their life but with a hint of sustainability attached to it. Earlier HMD had introduced the Nokia X30 5G mobile which almost had a similar sustainability quotient.
