L’OR BARISTA machines match with L’OR BARISTA XXL aluminium capsules or any external coffee pod

JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS UK (JDE), a sister concern of JDE Peet's, the globally acknowledged pure-play coffee and tea company based in the Netherlands, has launched its latest coffee system to meet the local demand for freshly brewed coffee. The L'OR BARISTA coffee machines created in collaboration with technology innovator Philips is being released along with a set of recyclable L'OR BARISTA XXL aluminium capsules.

L'OR BARISTA coffee machines are the first in the UK to be compatible with regular single shot capsules and the new modified L'OR BARISTA XXL aluminium capsules. The special capsules can hold twice as much coffee as a regular coffee pod and are available in flavours such as Ristrettos, Lungos and Espressos.

These L'OR BARISTA coffee machines allow coffee pod inserts of all kinds, giving a consumer the choice to pick between L'OR Espresso single shot capsules, L'OR BARISTA XXL aluminium capsules or any other coffee capsule that they might please, easing the retailer-consumer relationship to a great extent.

The coffee machine has dual capsule recognition technology that automatically gauges the capsule size accompanied by a 19-bar brewing pressure so that users can enjoy the milky froth at home anytime without the need to step out of a coffee shop.

This suffices the emerging demand for home-brewed coffee in the UK, and the double-spout design can replicate two separate coffee styles at once using the new L'OR BARISTA XXL aluminium capsules, available in six blends.

In addition to the entire advancement, the L'OR BARISTA XXL aluminium capsules are 100 per cent recyclable and fall under the prevailing Podback® recycling scheme. The scheme aids the consumers in returning end-of-life coffee pods for recycling, ultimately contributing to the carbon reduction of an end-user product.

The brand will invest £9 million in a heavyweight marketing campaign in 2022, which will be telecasted on television and social media.

L'OR BARISTA coffee machines arrive in two models; the compact L'OR BARISTA Sublime, customizable with three colour options, Piano Noir, Satin Black and Sunset Rubis and the L'OR BARISTA Latte Edition, which comes in the Piano Noir shade with a semi-integrated milk frother.
