With the shared feeling of Nationalism, Rimowa and Adidas have come together to introduce Rimowa's first-ever aluminium backpack and the Adidas NMD_S1 sneaker. Both the German brands have vouched to embark on a journey of sustainable mobility, and the use of Rimowa's grooved aluminium is just the beginning of the gesture.
{alcircleadd}This limited edition capsule collection by Rimowa and Adidas has been created with the modern ideologies of travellers, where backpacking is the most desirable option. Assembled exclusively in Germany, the cross-category collection displays the two most trending options.
The first in the series is Rimowa's first-ever aluminium backpack which has the sleekest yet contemporary design and can be carried on the back. This collection is a successful attempt to satisfy the next generation of urban explorers who find solace on the roads and even work on the go. The Rimowa x Adidas NMD_BACKPACK offers the latest technical characteristics that permit outdoor or overnight use.
Crafted from Rimowa's signature grooved aluminium, the aluminium backpack has many useful features like padded utility shoulder straps attached with a cabin, thumb loops to rope weight-bearing straps and a grab handle.
The aluminium backpack is suitable for flat packing as a detachable gusset opens the backpack to unveil two deep zipped pockets, offering a 16-inch laptop compartment alongside where both the company logos are stitched. The aluminium capsule also incorporates Adidas Boost-inspired foam ridges atop the backpack's grooved aluminium surface to give comfort to the backpacker. It also has a web of elastic running through its middle to secure the backpack onto the suitcase's telescopic tubes.
The second one in the collection is the Adidas NMD_S1 sneaker, which has an irresistible charm from the outside and is extremely comfortable when worn. Both the items have an accent of orange along the design with a certain tinge of titanium on the body.
Both the Rimowa x Adidas NMD S1 in Titanium and the Rimowa x Adidas NMD Backpack in Titanium are set to arrive on November 11 at selected Rimowa stores in Singapore. Each item will have the precious 'Made in Germany' tag since both components will be manufactured in the brands' headquarters.
