KYOCERA AVX, an American manufacturer and supplier of advanced electronic components and innovative sensor, control, connectors and antenna solutions, has reportedly unveiled new RES Series radial-leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitors that are engineered to deliver high CV values in small case sizes.
{alcircleadd}The new RES Series wet aluminium electrolytic capacitators also offer long-lifetime endurance of 5,000-7,000 hours at 105 degree celsius and high ripple current to help manufacturers save board space in high-density PCB assemblies.
These new RES Series capacitors are compatible and compliant with the RoHS, REACH, and CA Prop 65 directives, enhancing suitability in industrial, communications, and consumer electronics applications, such as computers, access points, and other networking stations.
The series is currently available in five case sizes – 0511, 0611, 0812, 0816 and 0820, with diametres ranging between 5.00 to 8.00 mm, lengths spanning 11.00mm to 20.00 mm, and weights extending from 0.41 to 1.81g. The initial set of product also offers four voltage ratings - 16, 25, 35 and 50.
The RES Series is the eighth series of the extensive radial-leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitors portfolio that KYOCERA AVX launched in February 2022.
Jackson Payne, Associate Product Marketing Manager at KYOCERA AVX, said: "Our new RES Series radial-leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitors provide industrial, communications, and consumer electronics manufacturers with the miniaturization, long-lifetime endurance, and high-CV performance that their high-density designs demand. So, we're very excited to further extend our portfolio of radial-leaded aluminium electrolytic capacitors with this new series and to offer customers an even more extensive selection of capacitance values, voltage ratings, and case sizes ideally suited to solving their design challenges."
