Kyocera AVX has recently launched the new AEF Series wet aluminium V-chip electrolytic capacitors for industrial and consumer electronics applications. Designed to meet the demands of high-density PCBs, these capacitors are qualified to industrial endurance levels. The series offers versatility with 11 case sizes ranging from 0608 to 1216. Capacitance values span from 2.2μF to 470μF, and voltage ratings range from 6.3VDC to 400VDC.
{alcircleadd}The new AEF Series wet aluminium electrolytic capacitors from Kyocera AVX feature low DCL and ESR, allowing for higher tolerance of ripple currents. They maintain low impedance across a wide range of temperatures from -40°C or -55°C to +105°C, ensuring reliability.
With extended lifetimes of up to 6,000 hours at +105°C and rated voltages, the series currently offers 59 part numbers. It is designed to meet the needs of diverse high-density applications in industrial and consumer electronics, including lighting systems and DC-DC converters.
“We are thrilled to introduce the new surface-mount AEF Series wet aluminium V-chip electrolytic capacitors to market. KYOCERA AVX has a robust portfolio of high-performance aluminium electrolytic capacitors, and this latest addition provides customers with a high-endurance solution that exhibits low DCL and low ESR characteristics, delivers outstanding reliability over extended lifetimes, and is available in a wide range of capacitance values, voltage ratings, and case sizes optimized to overcome design and performance challenges in consumer and industrial electronics applications with high-density PCBs,” said Slavomir Pala, Technical Marketing Manager, KYOCERA AVX.
Surface-mount capacitors in the AEF Series come equipped with pure tin terminations, supplied on 13” or 15” reels suitable for automated assembly equipment and supporting reflow assembly processes. They adhere to RoHS compliance standards and are compatible with lead-free assembly requirements.
